Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cooke, the Founder and President of Pivotal Insight, has an MBA and over 20 years of experience improving organizational performance. He has a diversified background with both public and commercial consulting experience in strategic planning, performance management, and business process reengineering (BPR). Prior to founding Pivotal Insight, Mr. Cooke held positions in both commercial (e.g. American Management Systems, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton) and government (e.g. DoD and USAID) organizations. Additionally, Mr. Cooke has extensive experience designing and implementing information technology solutions in both the public and private sectors with certifications from the University of Maryland, Quisic, and Oracle. Mr. Cooke is frequently referenced in publications and regularly speaks on emerging trends in the public sectors. This including presenting a study on Performance Measurement in Defense Acquisitions at Naval Postgraduate School Graduate School of Business & Public Policy Annual Acquisition Research Symposium. He also previously served as President of the American Society of Public Administration's National Capital Area Chapter (NCAC/ASPA). Mr. Cooke received a B.S. degree in Economics and a B.A. degree in Political Science from Clemson University and a M.B.A. degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from the George Washington University.
Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Geary has 16 years of programmatic, analysis and business operations experience in both commercial and public sector organizations. Prior to joining Pivotal Insight, Mr. Geary was the Business Operations Manager for the Strategic Management Division of a Fortune 500 Company. Also in this role, he provided Program Management and consulting support to several Department of the Navy organizations in the areas of strategic management, decision support and analytic tool development, performance measurement and economic analysis regarding acquisition strategies for multi-million dollar investment decisions. Mr. Geary has a diverse background with experience in project management, financial & cost analysis, modeling, strategic planning, performance measurement, process development, IT and technology planning, and Earned Value Management (EVM). Mr. Geary started his career as a Navy Officer and nuclear engineer serving on a fast attack submarine. He holds a BS in Physics from Allegheny College and a MS in Technology Management from the University of Maryland. Mr. Geary is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
Bradford D. Blevins
Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Bradford D. Blevins (Brad), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Pivotal-Insight, LLC, is a result oriented leader, executive advisor, and strategist; impassioned around resiliency and sustainability of operations, anti-fragile corporations, and improved executive negotiations and decision making. Brad has a tendency to thrive as a visionary in a strategic environment while remaining tactical and focused on results-oriented accountability. His focus is to ensure organizations can define their value proposition, allocate appropriate resources (financial, physical assets, personnel), mitigate process inefficiencies, reduce operating costs, and provide the highest quality products & services; all while leveraging the organization’s leadership strengths and cultural behaviors for performance success. Brad has over seventeen years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, operations management, change management interventions, mediation/negotiation, leadership development and professional facilitation. His interests and qualifications lend to the strategy and planning requirements that support senior executives in making tough strategic decisions related to their respective business units and future planning; especially in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environments. He has authored, executed, and managed Strategic Business Plans for client organizations with operating costs of more than $2 Billion. As a former US Army Soldier, Brad’s consultation around strategic planning and organizational performance with defense clients at war provides great insights and leverage for today’s organizations that find themselves with high operating tempos during times of intense change and crisis.
